For those players unfamiliar with the game, Clash of Clans is a strategy game involving building up your clan and going to war with others. It involves resource management and strategy. With healthy doses of super-addictive gameplay thrown into the mix, it is easy to see why Clash of Clans is such a phenomenon. To top it off, the Vikings aesthetic is a huge plus.
And as is the game’s tradition since its initial release back in 2012, as expected, this month will bring a whole host of updates to it, many of which are slowly leaking out from publisher and developer Supercell. Supercell likes to keep things fresh, and there’s no reason to think they won’t be shifting up the game again this summer.
Five New Potions Rumored for Next Clash of Clans Update
A recent fan kit unveiled five new potions that gamers still don’t know what their use will be. Potions in the game act like other items, either enhancing and ability to decreasing build and/or training time. These items add a new element to the gameplay and are always strategic in use. That is why people are so eager to know what exactly these updates will mean for their clan.
Heroic, insta finish, magic, power, and reset clock are the file names for the individual potions respectively. It is expected that the heroic potion will be related to regeneration and possible fielding two armies at once. This would allow doing two full attacks at once instead of just one.
Another possible use for the heroic potion is that it could act as a time-limited upgrade for the player, granting them abilities or increased stats.
The insta finish potion may just do what it describes but since the game already has books and other methods of instantly completing something this potion remains a mystery. Perhaps it is related to building stats or increasing some kind of proficiency. Of all the potions, this is the most mysterious.
Another option that may seem redundant and has players scratching their heads is the magic potion. Again, the game already has other ways of replenishing magic abilities so perhaps this potion is somehow related to other aspects of magic use in the game.
The reset clock potion will probably reset the clock tower cooldown so players can use it more frequently. Again, this is just speculation but the Internet seems to have converged on this theory.

When is the Next Clash of Clans Update?
It is expected that supercell will roll out these new potions sometime this month in preparation for the traditional summer updates. While the updates don’t normally upset gameplay too much, they are much-anticipated events by fans because of the new elements they add to the game. As Clash of Clans is one of the more stalwart brands in the mobile gaming space, you can expect people will be lighting up the charts with in-game purchases once these updates drop.
