Windows 10 is the latest desktop operating system that Microsoft has released. The operating system has been launched back in July 2015 and we have to mention that in the first months there were not many users who wanted to update their Windows 7/8/8.1 devices to this new OS. In fact, Microsoft has even offered in the first year, the Windows 10 license for free for anyone who wanted to upgrade from Windows 7/8/8.1 to the new OS.
However, today we will talk about the upcoming Windows 10 Creators Update, which is expected to be officially released in April 2017. Microsoft has not officially announced this yet, but it seems that the Windows 10 Creators Update is already available for PC users. The ISO file for the new Windows 10 build 15063 recently appeared on Microsoft’s servers.
There are two ways to install the new update on your computer and we will guide you through the process. According to “The Verge,” you are able to download the ISO file (32-bit or 64-bit) and mount it using the Windows 10 File Explorer. Once you do that, you will just need to simply run the “setup.exe” file and the upgrading process will begin.
On the other hand, Neowin says that you can pick the new version via the Windows 10 Update Assistant and use it to update to build 15063. However, there is a downside, as if you have the previous version of the Assistant tool on your computer running the Anniversary Update (or an earlier version of Windows 10), it will tell you that the operating system is already “up-to-date.”
Unfortunately, Microsoft has not revealed when it plans to officially roll out the Windows 10 Creators Update to the general public, but we have to mention that this version of the operating system was released for the Windows Insider fast and slow rings last week.
However, this it seems to be the final RTM build, which means that Microsoft is most likely working on a last-minute bug fix before it releases it to the public. We remind you that some previous rumors were suggesting that this update will be released for public sometime on April 11, 2017 (Patch Tuesday).
